He enrolled and completed his basic primary and secondary school education in record time while in the UK in 1989. He proceeded homeland, Nigeria, where he obtained his first degree (B.Sc.) in Accounting from the prestigious University of Jos, Nigeria. He advanced further for his Post Graduate Sojourn to Australia for his Post Graduate Studies and returned with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Southern Cross University. With over 18 years’ professional experience, 14 of which he has spent in Corporate Governance and Leadership of Business Corporations, he has a strong passion for the management of people and resources. His very mobile but long-spanning career started way back in 1995 with Plexus Cotton Limited, Liverpool, United Kingdom, where he actually cut his teeth in the Cotton Sector as Sample Officer. He returned to Nigeria in 1996 to join Arewa Textiles, Plc apparently to deepen his knowledge of the cotton sector as Cotton Control/Data Officer, a position he surprisingly held for only one year before crossing over to the Northern Nigerian Investment Limited as Asset Officer from 1997 to 1998. In the same year, he opted out to join Pannel Awobo Yusufu & Co., Kaduna as Audit Officer. He was there for only two short years, between 1998 and 2000 when another opportunity came for him to serve as the Special Assistant to the SSA to Mr President in the G-77 Unit of the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja. He is currently, the Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, ArewaCotton and Allied Product Limited amongst other positions in corporate organizations.
